Research Abstract

This study evaluates adaptation and demographic collapse across an island chains archipelago under extreme scarcity. We document a significant geographical migration event of 149 pixels as agents exhaust local islet resources. We show that fragmentation forces populations into high-friction archipelago bottlenecks, where the energetic cost of transit combined with water scarcity triggers total extinction.

RQ-027

Speciation on Island Archipelagos

How does geographical isolation across island chains accelerate genetic drift and colony-specific cognitive adaptations?

RQ-004

Reproductive Squelching under Severe Famine

Does extreme scarcity suppress sexual reproduction frequency in favor of individual self-preservation and shelter construction behaviors?

RQ-019

Disaster Bottlenecks and Lineage Extinctions

What structural thresholds determine which lineages survive rapid environmental shocks vs. experiencing absolute demographic collapse?
